Dear friend,

 

As we approach the end of 2009, on behalf of the entire Friendship Circle Team, I want to thank you for your help, assistance and interest in the Friendship Circle.

 

This has been an extraordinary year. The economic recession hit many people and institutions very hard. We too were impacted by smaller and slower contributions. Yet, despite the challenges, I am happy to say we have continued and even expanded our vital programs and activities.

 

This year was our 5th year of successful service to children with special needs. Through our programs, we have been able to provide love, support and of course, friendship, to countless children in our community who at times are otherwise isolated, lonely and dejected.

 

A few of our major accomplishments over the past year include  

 

·         Serving 74 families of children with special needs.

 

·         Empowering more than 100 teen volunteers who made an impact on the life of special needs children.

 

·         Starting A winter camp, Moms Night out and major holiday festivals.

 

·         Helping numerous families feel more accepted in the community and successfully giving countless parents less stress in their lives through the support of our programs.

 

Our work is only possible with the help of generous donations from compassionate supporters like yourself. We are sure you agree with our belief that “every child with special needs deserves the support that we are ready and willing to give.”

 

This is where you come in. Your financial support is needed now more than ever before. We are an independent entity and financially self-supporting. Every dollar we receive comes from this community and remains here.
