I see slings here in So Cal every once in a while. You would think there

would be more. I get a kick out of a fellow slinger when I come across them.

This is one of the things I really like about my sling. I've never been a

baby passer, though most of my friends are. I've always loved holding my

babies when we were out because I had nothing else I had to be doing! At

home, there is always something to be done. It's also not good for small

babies to be handled by a lot of people. It's one of the reasons they used

to always say wait 6 weeks before going out at all. One of my pet peeves is

people just taking the baby right out of your arms (while saying...let me

give you a break...sorry, but I don't NEED a break.)

Off my soapbox, can you tell I'm pregnant? LOL

I've gotten nothing but nice comments when we got out in it. Ds grade one teacher ALWAYS asks me if it bothers my back and I ALWAYS so no lol I have had quite a few people ask me where I got it or if I made it. The health nurse at my local health center just raves about it to all the new moms who come in :-)

Michele

I actually had several people comment on it today when we were out andabout. The first was a guy who said he wished they'd have had something likeit when they first had kids.

I think I have seen maybe one or two slings around here. Not too many. I have

been asked alot about mine. They have the Nojo at alot of stores around here so

you would think more people would be using them. But then again it is rare to

see anyone breastfeeding in public here
