Hi! :)

I have my journals for Sunday - Tuesday here - -

One *Important Note* -

(Never know, maybe some of the info below can help others here, too? :)

Here goes - -

Due to allergies, I can't always include a lot of dairy products every day.

I have to play it by ear, as advised by my GP (who is a lung specialist, and

treats me for my allergy problems) and by my Endocrinologist (who treats my

thyroid problem).

As per my GP/allergy doc - - if I am feeling congestion beginning to build, I

should have few or no dairy products until the congestion is cleared away.

It's not just a question of milk fat creating congestion, which it does - -

it's that a little congestion can be a complication if I suddenly have an

allergy attack on top of that....*sigh*

As per my Endocrinologist - my thyroid is, essentially, *DEAD* .... I take a

higher level of thyroid medication than the average person with a slow

thyroid, because it is not working at all...The medication robs calcium from

my body, so I must take Fosamax (which is a medication to help build up bones

that are prone to or show signs of osteoporosis) ***PLUS*** I have a regimen

he approved, whereas I take 3 calcium supplements on days when I have added

some dairy products to my menu, and I take 4 calcium supplements on days when

I have very little or no dairy products on my menu....

.....So, whether my daily journal seems to reflect it or not, I always get

enough calcium in my daily menu - - because I have specific instructions

from my doctor that makes certain I do. *By the way - I just had tests for

both doctors, and the calcium level in my blood was very good. My docs both

keep tabs on everything. :)

1 slice Kraft 2% Pepper Jack cheese (390 mg sodium) 1.30

1 medium banana (2 mg sodium) 2.00

Day's Total = 1928 mg sodium

Points Used = 26.9

Drank 8 cups of water

Also: Took Multivitamin + Calcium Supplement

Housework

Walked around mall for several hours. :)
