Hi! I'm responding to your request to be notified why we want to stay on the list. I joined the list a few months after my son was born. I wish I had known about it sooner because I had a really hard time in the beginning (very sore nipples for the 1st 10 weeks), but I stuck it out and am still nursing my 14 month old son. Even though I didn't join in the very beginning I have learned a lot from the list and I appreciate just hearing the stories from other breastfeeding Moms.

I must admit that now that he is walking and into everything I don't have as much time to even read emails so I switched to digest mode and probably only read every 4th or 5th digest. I like to read them whenever I can just to keep abreast (no pun intended) of any issues, but just can't keep up with the high volume on this list. If this not acceptable, please let me know.

Thanks!

Jean

PS Might I suggest that you send everyone that you plan to unsubscribe a personal email letting them know beforehand just in case they have temporarily gone "no mail" and aren't aware that they need to email you to stay on.

Being on digest is fine. I want anyone who is learning to stay on the list. I do plan on sending a final email to all the remaining subscribers before unsubbing anyone. Thanks for the suggestion. I am mainly trying to weed out anyone who is on here for other purposes than supporting breastfeeding. :D
