Guest guest
Come on Jill Admit it, you always wanted a water bed... I often find myself drooling a little now and then, but never bothered to pay it much mind. After coming home from the hospital I had problems with wet sheets. (No I wasnt a candidate for depends). It turned out the prednisone I was on had caused night sweats. And in some cases really bad ones. I tend to be a mouth breather at night. I'd say it was a med reaction although not sure which one would cause that. If the air is too hot and dry I find I do it more than when I have a humidifer or AC running. One final note: There are a few which have been known to cause muscle relaxation in the face. Some can even cause mild stroke, but I wouldnt freak just yet. Keep a close watch, and contasct your doctor if it becomes worse. Tony C and Schmeagle Its ok to be a big big ball of ugly now and then, when you become a box full o ugly all the time then we'll worry. > Okay, add this to list of gross things I am now doing. Guest guest
This is one that I would jot down and talk to the doctor about next time you are in..unless it continues to get worse then call and check with them. I can't say if the drugs caused drooling for me....I've always been a mouth breather at night and by default a drooler. *ick but my hubby deals with it* lol. I have noticed since I got my tonsils out that I don't breathe thru my mouth nearly as much and hence don't drool as much either. I feel I had a mild stroke earlier in 2003 before I was dx with high b/p. I've had mild right side weakness in my hand, face and leg since about March. Since it's mild the doc said there was no reason to investigate further since all they would do at this point is rehab to strengthen my right side again. Guest guest
I was once on a plane, fell asleep and woke up an hour later with drool all down my chest, embarassing to say the least. We can blame a lot on IGAN but I think that it is unfair to blame the following on IGAN: 1. The war in Iraq 2. The lack of intelligent Presidential candidates 3. Brutality of Iraqi prisoners by US soldiers (hmmm, maybe he had IGAN?) 4. Drooling Only my humble opinion, but I am not a doctor, I just play one on the internet. Guest guest
Pete, Great post. Made me chuckle. I'm so glad we all can find humor throughout these trying times, sharing that humor is even better. Guest guest
LOL! Thanks, I needed this today. Ha, ha. Actually, I found out I have a sinus infection, so I think that was making me drool because I'm sleeping with my mouth open.
