Guest guest
First of all I would like to say that I understand how you are feeling. It can be hard and overwhelming to have to deal with so much while trying to deal with the regular newborn and infant stuff. I am glad that you are seeking help for Will, but I am concerned that you are not seeking enough help for yourself. Postpartum is real and can sometimes take many many months to get through. It can sometimes take short term medication to get through it. You must also be aware that post partum can be caused by other things like thyroid, so be sure you have everything checked. It can be made worse if you worked before the pregnancy and are now trying to adjust to being a stay at home mom. If you are feeling depressed enough to not perform the necessary medical care for Will then you probably already know something is not right. Please seek more help. I think a physical therapist would be a very good option for you, they can get you started and once you see them doing the stretches and exercises you will know that it really isn't as bad or scary as you think. This helped me alot. You are going to have to pull yourself together with the help of your doc if necessary to do all that you can do for your baby. You are his mom!!! Please feel free to e-mail me if you need advice or just want someone to talk to. I mean that! I am sorry to post this out here for all to see, but this is an important subject that all new moms can benefit from. CAROLG > Hello Everyone, > I am kind of new and have not posted a whole lot.
