Guest guest
Caren - I go to the mall everyday to walk as it has been too hot outside and my DR doesn't want me to get overheated. I try to walk at least 1/2 hour even on my busy days. Last night I went to a baby shower. The cake was on a little plate and the door prize numbers were under the plates so I ate the darn cake. I won a door prize so I guess it was worth the points. LOL Sherrie K

Guest guest
Journal looks great Sherrie! Do you sprinkle the flax seed on your yogurt and what does it taste like? I have heard that it is very good for you, but never had the courage to try it. How are you feeling? I noticed you went for a 30 minute walk...Good for you! Just be sure not to overdue it and go to fast! Guest guest
Zephyr - I'm afraid if I don't journal I will slowly get out of control. I have given away all my " old " clothes and am slowly purchasing new things. I can t afford to do this again so I guess this is part of my incentive. Some days I go over my limit but for the most part I'm good as I truly believe this is a lifestyle and not a diet. I have been OP for almost a year. I think the biggest thing that helped me was when I started WW I " dejunked " (I don't know if this is a word) my house and got rid of all the bad choices I had been making in food items. I employ a lot of college students and they were happy to take this food off my hands so at least it didn't go to waste. Continued success to you on your journey. I know you will be in the 250 s real soon and it only gets better from then on! Hugs - Sherrie K
Guest guest
- I feel fantastic - thanks for asking. My recovery has been so smooth and I don't regret having the surgery for a minute. Not having to ever live with that painful TOM again is such a reward. I am looking forward to going back to work and being able to work out again but that won't happen until after my 6 week checkup on July 30. I hope all is well with you and continued success on your journey! Hugs - Sherrie K

Guest guest
Maureen - I stir the flax seed right in to the yogurt. It has a kind of nutty taste but I don't notice it much in the fruit flavored yogurt. I buy the ground flax seed at GNC, a local nutrition store. It does have many benefits which you can check out at http://www.goldenflax.com/?t=goto/. This site will give you some background info on flax seed. I really feel fantastic. I go to the mall everyday to walk as it has been too hot outside. My DR can't believe how quickly I have been healing and how well I am doing.
