Guest guest
Hi ladies! Sorry, I was cleaning so I got out of the conversation for a little bit, lol. Anyhow, Hannah spends about 1/3 of her awake time in her walker, eating her fruit puffs, lol, and the rest of it playing and rolling all over the floor. She can push herself up pretty far, sometimes can lift up to her hands and knees, but does best if I help. Now, my oldest, , was crawling very early on and was walking without support around 10 1/2 months, which surprised me. When she was in the womb, her legs were crossed funny and the way she had her feet curled up, it almost looked like she had club foot. Finally, when she was about 9 months old, and already pulling herself up and trying to walk, they did xrays and found that her bones were fine...basically her muscles were just pulling her feet in, so she was walking on the tops of her feet, rather than the bottoms. They put casts on her feet, which she kicked off a week later. So then I just got sandles that opened all the way up so I could place her feet in them, and since she was already starting to walk, it just helped her " train " her muscles to work the right way. Even with her feet problem, she was still always advanced with everything. And she still is. Where my middle child, Milena, has always been a little behind or right on track. It was always weird for me cause I was so used to doing things so early that I always thought that Milena was WAY behind, till I did my research and talked to the daycare and found that she was doing great for her age. Now Hannah is pretty much the same as Milena. Some things she may be slightly behind, but otherwise I think she is right on track. I'm glad I only have one super smart kid...cause she is a pain, lol. She's 4 yrs old and is too hyper and too smart for her own good, lol. She had a perfect noggin, Milena has mild unresolved plagio and Hannah has severe plagio and tort, waiting to be banded.
