Guest guest
on the topic of appropriate artwork.....when sebastian (NT) was in junior kindergarten (age 4) they did this thanksgiving turkey artwork - i was volunteering in the classroom this day. each child was given out the cut out bits of the turkey and instructed on how to put them together to make a turkey identical to the one the teacher had made. well, sebastian glued the red wobbly hang off of the throat part (i can't think what it's called) inside the open beak so it looked like a tongue sticking out. he proudly showed the teacher his " good idea " as i stood back beaming with pride at my son's ingenuity and creativity - she gasped dramatically and said " thank god the glue hasn't dried " pulled the red wobbly thing out of the turkey's mouth and put it where it was " supposed to go " ! i was horrified! she then hung all 20 identical turkeys on the bulletin board. michelle mg

Guest guest
well, sebastian glued the red wobbly hang off of the throat part (i can't think what it's called) wattles? inside the open beak so it looked like a tongue sticking out. he proudly showed the teacher his " good idea " as i stood back beaming with pride at my son's ingenuity and creativity - she gasped dramatically and said " thank god the glue hasn't dried " pulled the red wobbly thing out of the turkey's mouth and put it where it was " supposed to go " ! i was horrified! she then hung all 20 identical turkeys on the bulletin board. She's an unimaginative pain, but probably well-meaning. Putter's artwork comes home looking Putter-ish, I am happy to say. He brought home a picture of a blue sponge painted fish. Bubbles issued from the fishes mouth (I could tell they were Putter Bubbles) and the word " Books " was written coming out of the bubbles. Strange little Putt.
