Hi Becky, Thanks for your reply. I have to ask you one more thing

and please do not think that I am a nag!! I had asked about the

powder/corn starch too and was told not to use any. (Again, we had a

different band). My othotist told me that it is actually an abrasive

and could also cause skin breakdown. He compared it (on some level)

to sandpaper (albeit not as harsh of course)! So again, I am only

asking to ask your orthotist because I always am in fear of skin

irritation & breakdown.

My son perspired alot too in the beginning but the more they wear it,

the better. Her body temperature will adapt more quickly to the

helmet and the sweating should subside within perhaps a week. It

only took my son a few days. I hope this helps and again just wanted

to double check.
