I'm in the process of doing all that stuff so I'm all legal. I have had my

own hair cutting business so I'm aware of all the things that go with it.

Thanks for all your advice as I'm sure I'll be asking lots more questions.

Quick question (or two) -

Before selling to the general public, have you tested the bejeebers out of

the soap? Refined your recipe, etc.? Do you have insurance? That's

another " must " in my book for selling. In this day and age where people sue

each other over hot coffee, it only makes sense to cover your tush.

Also, have you discovered your " look " - both of the soaps and your

information (brochures, labels, etc.)? Have you checked with your State to

discover what the requirements are for beginning a business - if you're

selling, it's a biz so you need to be sure to get that straight.

Ok, off for me to get coffee. I just wanted to double check. If you've

done all this, sorry. I've missed a lot recently on this list, much to my

unhappiness.

Here is what I do for labels: We have a cannon creative program that has all

kinds of label sizes. But I use the simple letter writing program to make my

wrapped labels.

Then I cut and paste what I forgot to put on (which always happens) and head

to the printer. I get 3 to a page and he showed me how he can print it on

colored paper, then I cut it apart with pinking shears. This weekend was the

first showing for my bigger bars and this labeling and it was recieved well.

Dianne,

My dh makes all our labels. He uses publisher because he can " manipulate "

it a lot. There are several other label programs out there. Look at places

Dianne,

You and I are in the same boat. Someone suggested this option. I

downloaded it but haven't started messing with it yet. It's a great price

and I'm told it's really easy to use. Hope this helps you.

TK--- You can begin chelation as long as you do not have amalgams.

Read through the rest of the information on Moria's links about the

protocol, dosage, timeing, chelators etc before starting and I would

suggest getting Andy's book. Supplementation can help a lot and is

important also. You can start there if you want. Start with one

chelator DMPS, DMSA or ALA at a low dosage 12.5mg for your first few

rounds 3-4.

I do still have one amalgam, but I am scheduled for its removal at the

end of the month. I will read through your suggested links in the

meantime. Will this help me figure out appropriate supplementation?

Thanks again!

Hi TK!

I have read the information on Moria's links concerning Andy's

recommended supplementation, but I think I need help fleshing this

out a bit.

He says: " Most importatnt: C & B vitamins 4 x day. B - 12.5 - 25 mg

4 x day. "

1. Is this ALL B vitamins or a particular few? Can this amount (or

some of the amount) be included in a daily multi-vitamin?

2. There is a range in the dosing here. Can someone tell me the

daily dosage for a 96.5 lb. mom, a 40 lb. girl, a 38 lb. boy, and a

22 lb. baby?

He also says: " 50 Magnesium several times a day - 10 mg per lb.

spread throghout day adjust if getting diarrhea. "

1. What is 50 Magnesium? Does this refer to the amount of mg per

capsule?

He also says: " Vitamin A - 5 RDA's per day CLO is an OK source as are

vitamin A supplements of any other kind . . . . "

1. According to what I can determine, that means ingesting 25,000 IU

of vitamin A per day. Is this correct? It seemed like an excessive

amount to me, so I wanted to make sure I had this straight.

2. Does the 5 RDA's per day of CLO pertain to children as well

(because if it does, my children are getting drastically less), or

does this statement solely pertain to adults?

Thank you again for answering my non-ending list of questions.

--- All - I suggest 25-50

Can this amount (or

figure the others

--- magnesium, start with 10mg/lb spread out throughout the day and

adjust to bm softness - diarrhea less - If you tend to be

constipated the citrate, orotate, aspartate forms work well and are

absorbed ok. If you tend to be on the diarrheoa side magnesium

chloride is the best absorbed of the current forms and does not

cause the diarrhea.

TK--- correct - it is not excessive except for rda standards which

are off anyway. there is a max dosage you should not exceed for A

You might want to check out the list below for supplement

recommendations for children (by weight):

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/autism-mercury/

There is a " Supplement File " in the Files section there.

Even if your kids are not autistic, if they have problems

requiring chelation, then these supp recommendations will

be helpful.
