Guest guest
Hi , You have already gotten lots of excellent advice but I just have to add one thing. Because you have let your girlfriend know you are ill but are being secretive with the details, your girlfriend's mother may be imagining something far worse than PSC. She may think you have an infectious disease that could harm her daughter. I am a mother of a 20 year old daughter and I would certainly be far more worried by a boyfriend's unwillingness to tell the whole story than by the news that he has an autoimmune disease. Lack of information usually creates more anxiety than complete information, even if it includes bad news. The sooner you tell your girlfriend the better. Don't let fear keep you from getting the love you deserve. (Sacramento) dx PSC and UC 2001 (happily married 21 years)
