7 wk. old that will *not* nap

Ok, I hope someone can give me some good suggestions before I go bonkers.

For the past week, has been next to impossible, but it's gotten really bad since yesterday. She wants to be held every single minute of the day from about 8 a.m. til 8 p.m. By me and only me. No one else will do.

I nurse on demand, so I think she's getting plenty to eat. The problem is that she will only fall asleep nursing. Most of the time I don't have a problem with it, but right now I'm finding that I can't get anything done because if I'm not holding her, she's crying. Her quiet, alert periods of the day are down to just a couple.

She's not running a fever, I can't see anything wrong with her, she's still having good diaper output. She's just miserable. I think part of the problem is that she hasn't had any sleep except at night.

Any suggestions?
