I think the DMSA or DMPS, is supposed to help with the side effects associated with the ALA chelation and can help control things more apparently. Some find they do better with DMSA or DMPS with the ALA, some find the opposite. If it helps, you should definitely take it, it's the main chelator anyway, the others are optional. Are you on a strict candida diet? This is essential. No sugar, no yeast, no gluten grains and limit or elminate fruit and starches. Antifungals are secondary to diet and sometimes they can release too many toxins at once and can make some a person worse.
