Guest guest
sorry to hear about your son. Thats horrible, hope he is doing better. Has he told you anything about the landing. Did he hit his head or anything on the way down. Yikes. You must have been so devastated. I know what you mean about focusing on someone elses problems. I think it generally keeping busy that feels good, because when your constantly on the go doing somethign you fail to focus on your own problems. However I wouldnt recommend dwelling so deep you forget the important things like medications and dosages. That would be a not good thing. I also want to congratulate you on overcoming one more med. I know as my meds get decreased I get all excited. Last thursday while filling my pill case for the week, my dosages have decreased so much since my transplant surgery I could have sworn I was forgetting some. As for how long before the shaking stops, Having never experienced that side effect from the prednisone, I couldnt say. I'll be taking it for the rest of my life sadly. I'd imagine as with any drug it should be out of your system completely within a few days. Then again everyones system is a lil different. I'm so happy you're feeling better though, my best to you and your son. Tony C and Schmeagle > Now I want to know how long it takes for the shakes to go away. Guest guest
Hi , That must have scared you half to death to see your son reacting like that after his fall. I am relieved everything turned out ok. It is hard when you can't take your eyes off him for even a minute and they are so active. Oh, the challenges of being a Mommy! That was so nice of you to help out your friend like that. As Tony said though, please make sure you take care of yourself in the middle of taking care of others. I too will have to defer to others who have been through the Prednisone withdrawals to answer your question on the shakes.
