Guest guest
I have a nursery here in town that the owners know us by our first names. The will order things for me if I request something they don't usually carry, they will call me when they get something in that they think I will like. I have even called them to order trees and shrubs and potted plants to send whenever there was an occasion to send flowers, because I don't like to send cut flowers. When a friends father died a couple of years ago in the spring, the friend had just bought a new house. We called our nursery and had them deliver a dogwood tree to him. He told us much later that he really enjoys that tree as a rememberence to his dad. Now, the nursery usually does not deliver, but we offerd to pay them a little extra to do it, so they did. Now that is what I call service. in Georgia > > >thanks karen in georgia!!........that's a good plan. i know just the >nursery. you know it's also nice to be able to give locals business, >wouldn't you agree? family businesses are a rare commodity and i like >to search them out. maybe i'll do that right now...........
