Sorry for your difficulties. I hope that it's nothing serious. I'm

thinking possibly a displaced joint on one side? Maybe a little scar

tissue or arthritis? A lot of these things can be 'cleaned out'

arthroscopically and it's no big deal (easy for me to say, I know.)

Are you having pain on opening?

Keep us posted.

, I am hoping that it isn't a big deal. When I called this

morning to talk with his secretary she must have thought it was

because as soon as he got out of surgery he called to say he wants to

see me tomorrow. I will keep you posted. BTW, how did yours turn out?

Hello stranger! I've been away, but pop in every chance I get. I've

been so busy.

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems. Let's hope it's not a

problem and just another part of healing. Please let us know and

good luck tomorrow. To answer some of your questions, I'm a bit

frustrated that my surgeon never measured openings, etc. I have no

idea where I'm at, but I most definitely cannot open to where I was

before surgery. I can fit about 2-1/2 fingers (sideways) in there.

It's not awful, but I realize it I try to fit a sandwich or something

in there and I can't fit it in. Not sure if I'm having complications

or not. I have a popping/clicking in my left jaw joint, but it comes

and goes (mostly comes). I am also experiencing a very mild, dull

achiness/fullness ... sort of feels like an earache is coming on ...

on the right side each morning when I wake up, then it subsides later

in the morning. Very strange. The surgeon mentioned I had quite a

bit of scar tissue after Surgery 1, so I'm really hoping that this

isn't going to be a lasting problem related to that. My surgeon says

he no longer has to see me, so I guess it's up to me to return if I

feel things aren't right. No more surgeries for me, though.

Good luck and I'll look out for your post after tomorrow's visit.

Irish,

I'd go back and see the surgeon. The thing that amazes me is that I saw my

surgeon the other day, and he said that he'll be seeing me on and off for

three years to keep an eye on my progress. Four months may seem a bit soon

to be cutting off contact, especially if you're not entirely happy with

where you're at!

I hope it all works out for you! :)
