I seem to remember that you have a history of cadmium exposure (if that is a correct memory, then I am definitely getting better :-) If so, I would not be surprised if this is an issue for you. Are you planning to get Andy's Hair Test book? He has over a page of info on what kinds of problems cadmium causes in the body, and another page on supps to take that may help with specific problems you may have. I think if you are dealing with cadmium, this would be pretty valuable info. You've probably heard me babble on about uranium before... --

Guest guest
My cadmium was redlined. It was 0.195, ref. range being <=0.022 No deranged mineral transport. Just signs of adrenal fatigue, very low lithium, low sodium/potassium. (Actually, I think you interpeted it..it was the GSDL test on Mercury Autism a while back). Yes, cadmium exposure. Low did I know it is in every breath of a cigarette and some paints. I have used a lot of latex. I really think it was the cigarettes though. I don't think I have heard you on Uranium. But I will search around the old posts. The book is on my christmas list. > > > > I have been doing some review of my hair test done by GSDL. Guest guest
I did try lithium for a few days and it seemed to help at first but made me feel weird after that. I am thinking maybe just taking it every other day might be better. The vanadium is strange. I do not supplement that nor have I in the past. I will check on sources for that one. My blood sugar is in the 90's on a fasting blood test, but I do have serious hypoglycemic symtpoms. (probably burned up adrenals and thryroid) Ok..ignore the uranium..gotcha. I have added in iodine and potassium, hope to get some adrenal cortex soon too. Thanks so much for all your help. It is hard to figure out what to do to feel better when you feel cruddy. But if you have hypoglycemic symptoms try chromium with meals, and it will also balance out the vanadium. Chromium and vanadium oppose one another. > Ok..ignore the uranium..gotcha. I do appreciate your time! I sure do know what that is like. I'm in a " feeling better " place right now, but it's a balancing act. Hope you hit a good patch soon. -- > > > I went back and checked your hair test (post 172713 on A-M). > > Cadmium and lead are the main issues reflected by the test. > > Of course, mercury may be in there somewhere, given your > > history of amalgams, but it's not reflected by that hair test > > (remember, though, the GSDL test is not as sensitive as the > > DDI test). > > > > I'm going to add a few comments to my previous analysis: > > > > Lithium supplementation is a good idea with an undetectable > > level.
