Guest guest
Frances, if CT has already filed the insurance claim it can sometimes take weeks to get an answer from your insurance company. It won't hurt to keep calling and checking w/your insurance co though. What do you mean with you want it off before it's supposed to be on? Once your insurance gives an answer you can have your child casted and the band will be fitted within two weeks. Then depending on the age and rate of growth of your child, the band can be worn for up to 16 weeks (though for many it is weeks less). Anyone one this board who I have heard talk about their experiences with a PROPER fitting helmet have nothing but good things to say. The only regrets I've ever heard deal with ill fitting bands. As long as the helmet is fitted properly you will see correction in a baby who is young enough and doesn't have cranio. Please check out my daughter's website below to see her progress pictures--the change was phenomenal! Good luck. , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad Cape Cod, Ma http://hannahsnoggin.typepad.com > > Thanks for the great info. My 3mo has Plagio/Tort. Right now we > are > > doing Repo and PT.
