He was very personable, and I was able to meet him and interview him for the newspaper. I was so excited. My husband had never heard of him before. But, my love of music has taken me to all genres, and he is one of the most versatile performers I have ever heard. I was so excited. While his stud status has deminished over the years (probably even before I was born)...lol...his vocal chords have not. It was a great performance. He was born in Arkansas, but moved here when he was 14...not our town but our county. His nephew is running for county sheriff, and he performed here at his nephew's campaign rally. It was a free concert, and you could not have asked for a better evening's entertainment. But, if they have a great voice, I can always close my eyes and picture anybody I want. I love a man with a voice...lol!
