Guest guest
The following is the result of my most recent hairtest. Previous test results were posted if anyone cares to compare the results to these. Comments and help with interpretation appreciated. Thanks,Gladioli DDI Hair Elements Test. Have Adrenal Hypofunction, Thyroid Hypofuncition, Severe MCS, IBD. Taking hydrocortisone, armour, on SCD diet, chelation w/ALA since October 2005 using 25mg and Andy's dosing schedule. (could not tolerate DMPS or DMSA at any dose) Difficulty doing labs because end up with 2-3 months of numbness/tingling/pain radiating from venipuncture site, so do labs only if absolutely necessary. Guest guest
Any idea why your sodium would be so high? Usually in adrenal hypofunction the sodium is low and potassium high. Also, in hypothyroidism, usually the calcium and magnesium are above range. Based on what you've written before, no surprise that your arsenic is high. Guest guest
I just replied to this on A-M, but I will give you more details: Your K/Ca is .02 (range .03-.35), Na/K is 83 (range .5-10), and K is low at 3 (range 8-38). According to Andy's HTI book, all of these indicators suggest low thyroid. Also the combination of slow metabolizer (Ca/P=.66), high Na/Mg=10, and high Ca/K=45 suggest impaired immune function (Andy mentions thymus glandular to improve immunity). Digestive enzymes are also suggested with these results. (Please check my arithmetic to be sure my calculations are right.) -- > > The following is the result of my most recent hairtest.
Guest guest
Gladioli, The hair tests are showing progress. I hope it feels that way! Although no counting rules are met, you are close on counting rule 4 with 12 in green. Arsenic is still red high but the level has dropped a bit. Your ratios are shifting toward normal. You have a ways to go, but Na/K moved from 107 to 83 to 32. This is still out of range, but it's a huge improvement! The K/Ca moved from ..015 to .02 to .07 - this is now in range! Your potassium level has increased quite a bit. All of these point to improvement in your thyroid function. The increase in your Armour dose seems to have helped. In case you are not feeling these improvements yet, the hair tests are showing evidence that good stuff is happening. -- > > Hi, > > I would appreciate input on the results of my most recent DDI hair > test-10/2006.
