Hi all, my kids and I are chelating, and based on our health/symptoms & the

description in

" Amalgam Illness " , I'd say we are moderately poisoned.

The rounds are going well, and we just started round 29.

The kids both weigh ~ 80# and I'm ~ 140#.

We started back in December with DMSA only, 12.5 mg for the kids, and 25 mg for

me.

The kids started DMSA + ALA, 12.5 mg each, around round 5, and I started DMSA +

ALA,

25 mg each, around round 9 (3 months post amalgam removal).

We did 14 rounds of DMSA + ALA, and then went to ALA only. I prefer the way I

feel on

ALA only. We did some dose increases, and without any problems, got to 25 mg

ALA for

the kids, and 50 mg ALA for me.

Despite being careful during home renovations, it's likely we've been exposed to

lead in

the past, although how much, I'm not sure. Our hair tests showed deranged

mineral

transport, and lead in the low green. Following advice in " Hair Test

Interpretation " , I

thought it would be a good idea to do one round a month with DMSA since we are

chelating for Hg anyways.

Round 26 we did DMSA again, along with ALA---our usual 25 mg ALA for the kids,

and 50

mg ALA for me. I wasn't sure what to do about the DMSA dose amount, so I went

back to

12.5 mg of DMSA for the kids, and 25 mg for me. That was fine.

Round 29 and I wanted to feel out 37.5 mg ALA for the kids, and 75 mg ALA for

me.

That's roughly 1/2 mg per #, easy to divide, and might be our dose we " stick

with " for the

duration of chelation.

If we tolerate this dose of ALA, and I think we will, what do you suggest for

our next round

with DMSA? What dose DMSA, with the ALA?

Thanks in advance,

in Illinois
