Guest guest
Hi Dena, I am very glad you have been doing so well managing with your kidneys. I am a strong believer in a positive attitude helping tremendously in dealing with any chronic condition. The headaches you are describing may be caused by your BP being high, although you don't say how high it has been so that may not be it. The nausea in the middle of the night I have no idea about. I know as kidney function declines, you can get increased nausea, but I don't understand just in the middle of the night like that. Please let us know what your doctor says next Monday. Guest guest
Hi Dena, I should have read this email too before my last response. With a creatinine of 4.7, my guess would be that is what your nausea is from. Has your doctor discussed dialysis access with you to get you through until you have a transplant? If not, you may want to ask him on Monday. BP also does get much harder to control after you get below 25% renal function, and you are certainly below that.
