Hi Dena,

I am very glad you have been doing so well managing with your kidneys. I am

a strong believer in a positive attitude helping tremendously in dealing with

any chronic condition.

The headaches you are describing may be caused by your BP being high,

although you don't say how high it has been so that may not be it. The nausea

in the

middle of the night I have no idea about. I know as kidney function

declines, you can get increased nausea, but I don't understand just in the

middle of

the night like that.

Please let us know what your doctor says next Monday.

Hi Dena,

That is a heavy load to manage nursing school and IgAN at the same time. I

am so sorry this year has been so hard on you. Hopefully, the increase in BP

meds will at least help get that under control, and that alone will help you

feel better. I think things are easier to cope with when we feel better. I am

very glad you have been able to not let it get you down yet, but just know it

is ok to have those times when you do feel overwhelmed or scared or down too.

We are here to support you through this.

Let us know what your Nephrologist says on Monday ok?
