Guest guest
Do you understand an " ILL fitting " STARband for instance is not all STARbands, it is just one that doesn't fit correctly b/c of an icompetent ortho?? YOu are right, I do feel anyone would be a fool to try ILL fitting bands that can make a head worse! It is not biased--why would you want to waste time in a band that doesn't fit and is making your baby's head worse? However, I never said ALL the other types of bands are ILL fitting, I just said to do your homework w/your ortho to avoid an ill fit. If CT didn't require training and therefore had bad stories, than we'd be cautioning you to do your homework w/them too. Everything you just quoted of me is factual! And again, I can't help it if a few of you want to read that I'm suggesting you only use CT. I've said it plain as day many times today alone that there needs to be other options, and as long as you have an experienced ortho that is what matters. You're reading what you want to read, not what I'm typing. I've answered things the same way for years now, and I'm not going to alter my responses because a few people read my response incorrectly. I applaud anyone who finds a good ortho and ask them to add them to our database. Again, us mods are sorry if this stuff bother some, but wecertainly aren't willing to flower up facts to make them less offensive to a few people. We have DOC, STAR, Repo, and local helmet moderators and we all support each qualified ortho w/an FDA approved product equally. If you are so frustrated w/it then take some time away from the board or whatever you need to do but please stop clogging it w/posts that are not useful for any member. > > > > > > > While I appreciate that the majority of the > > > > > mother's who post to > > > > > > this board > > > > > > > are HUGE DOCband supporters, I am also > > > starting > > > > > to feel that > > > > > some > > > > > > of you > > > > > > > think it is unwise to even try any other > > > band. > > > > > I have my son in > > > > > a > > > > > > STARband, > > > > > > > and due to all of the posts about Hanger, I > > > feel > > > > > as though I > > > > > should > > > > > > be > > > > > > > guilty of being an " inadequate " mother for > > > not > > > > > putting my child > > > > > in a > > > > > > > DOCband.
