Blue Cross/Blue Shield anyone???

Dear Everyone:

Did anyone get denied from Blue Cross/Blue Shield? Does this

insurance generally cover most of the expenses? My surgery is about

$15k and I have yet to set a date in NYC. I was just wondering how

anyone who is covered by this insurance went about getting re-

imbursed? Does anyone have any advise so that I won't be denied and

I might get the most financial assistance?

Also, how soon after the first consultation can a surgery date be

decided? Months or can it just take weeks? I've heard of people

doing it in November, and later on in the year, but I was hoping to

have it done this summer. Will it be possible to have the surgery

sooner (as in this summer)? Thank you so much for your help!
