Hi Amy,

I got terrible headaches before I was diagnosed with GD. I don't know

what your current thyroid hormone levels are now, but maybe they are

higher than normal?

Yeah...I plan on bringing it up to my OB tomorrow. It'll be interesting to

see if they have changed at all.

Amy,

I have a friend who had a non-stop migraine for the first 4 months. I hope

that's not happening to you! She was 43 and having her first. He's an

adorable 5 month old now.

Amy,

I also had migraines with my first child. I had about 5 or 6 of them in the

first couple of months before my mom came up with the connection. I had

never had migraines or food allergies before, but whenever I ate red meat

while I was pregnant, I would get a horrible migraine the next day. Stopped

eating red meat, no more migraines. After the birth, I was able to eat red

meat again and had no problems. Weird, but my doc said that does happen to

some people. It doesn't have to be meat either, it could be anything. Not

saying this is your problem, but think back to when you've had a migraine

and what you ate before and see if there's any connection between the foods.

I know food allergies can cause migraines for people, but I never heard of

it only in pregnancy.

Hope you feel better and the pregnancy goes smoothly!

(who really craved Big Macs during all her pregnancies because of

this problem, in spite of 6 months of morning sickness)

not feeling " right " (just complaining)
