Hello everyone,

I just wanted to ask that all of you keep my mom in your prayers. She has pnemonia and bronchitis right now. She has been to the doctor twice this week and will be going back tomorrow. They are probably going to put her in the hospital. This is all scary for me, b/c in 1999 we almost lost here to pneumococcol pnemonia... since then she is suppose to have a pnemonia shot every year to prevent this. She lost a lot of her lung capacity in 99. (about 40%) She has had pnemonia one other time since then and spent almost a week in the hospital with it. Since 99 she has trouble with her blood pressure dropping really low when she is sick... this is what caused her to almost die in 99. (her BP was 60/40 at one point and she went into cardiac arrest three times)

Anyways... they have her on some strong meds for the infection and have given her two shots so far to boost her WBC up and help fight this off.

I am hopeful that all the meds will help and she will avoid a hospital... I hate her having to be there this time of the year.(She is very prone to staff infections).

There isn't much I can do right now for her... for obvious reasons I have to avoid her... so I am praying... I ask that you will too.
