later?

TK--- Because taking it sooner does not cause a drop in blood

levels. Later causes a drop and redistribution.

TK--- 4hr is DMSA half life. Some can stretch it to a max of 5hr but

that is the cut off time for a dose before having to stop the

round. You take the chelators at their half life or more frequently

to keep a consistent blood level to avoid redistribution. That

doesen't mean you can take it at 4hr one dose and 5hr the next as

this is going to cause inconsistent blood levels and redistribution.

TK--- Yes it will and but increasing the blood level as long as you

are conistent does not cause redistribution.

TK--- After the half life serum levels start to drop and there is

not as much chelator as there is Hg which is why you take another

dose to keep blood levels consistent.

If there is no more DMSA/ALA in the blood by having taken the next

> dose on time, then it can't be mopped up again and is simply re-

distributed?

TK--- There is chelator left at the half life, half of it. yes if

there is not enough chealtor the Hg is redistributed like at the end

or a round.

TK--- Yes which is why some people need to take it more often than

others.
