Guest guest
To follow up on this, my son was back in college full-time and working part-time a month after surgery. (It helps to be 21 and otherwise healthy.) He was told to be careful but not to obsess about getting sick. He did have this fear that if he got a cold, he would never get over it, so it was sort of a relief when he did catch a cold two or three months after the transplant and recovered from it in a reasonable amount of time. Guest guest
Hey Tony, Can you stand 7 more weeks of boredom while waiting to go back to work the beginning of July? That sounds like a long way away, but I know it will be here before we know it. Do you like to read? Might be a good time to catch up on reading. Guest guest
Been reading, drawing, Playing on the computer, posting here, visiting, walking, eating, eating, eating.... Damn that prednisone. At least I havent gained to much weight. Yeah I will make due in the meantime. Oh the Lung doctor confirmed my self diagnosis, which I generally do not do. The report claiming adnormal results in my pulminary test was in fact... (big medical term comin) Reversable airway obstruction... aka, Asthma. A mild case that only reveals itself when exerted. I've told my docs I thought I had asthma for years but when they listened to my lungs or viewed my xrays they said that my lungs were clear. Sure but when i run or strain myself my bronchia expand and I cant get enough air in. At least Its not congestive. Well thats it for now. Tony C and Schmeagle... Happy 2 month's in your new home Schmeagle.... > Hey Tony, > > Can you stand 7 more weeks of boredom while waiting to go back to work the > beginning of July? Guest guest
I have the same kind of asthma Tony. I take a steroid puffer for it, and I take a puff of ventolin before any exercise - well, not always, but it doesn't take much to trigger it.
