Guest guest
Thanks , You have been really helpful. As for the bottles, Blake already takes them. He has been taking bottles of EBM since his first week. He has no problems switching back and forth, though I know that is unusual. Thanks for your concern. I hear where you are coming form. I feel lucky that Blake does not care which one he gets, as long as it's food. I will ask about the meds when I know for sure when the surgery will be. Thanks again! Guest guest
Tina, Ask in the hospital what type of anesthetic you'll be getting and make sure you let them know you breastfeed. When I had to have the D & C they told me I'd have to pump and dump for 24hrs as well but afterwards when I spoke to the nurse she said she'd check to see what type of anesthetic I'd had that there's one type that isn't ALL THAT BAD, that they have to tell you that for their own purposes. She checked and whatever it was, I'd had the not so bad one, so she said to just wait like 8 or 12 hours (I can't remember), pump/dump that and then resume the regular nursing. I hope this helps you and good luck with your surgery and recovery. Fawn SAHM to Drake 8-18-
