Guest guest
I had all these problems 2-3 months ago. I was almost completely anorexic and had lost 15 pounds. For me, that put me severely below a healthy weight, and many of my friends were telling me that I was looking frail/thin. I pretty much attributed it to toxicity. I had severe digestive problems for about 4 months after I had surgery on a bunion. I must have been injected with some mercury for the procedure because I would up with metals toxicity and severe candida yeast overgrowth. I first got the yeast under control, then I found out about chelation, toxicity and the Cutler protocol. I've been chelating steadily for 3 months now at a low dose of DMSA, and this has made all the difference. Lack of apetite is a symptom of several different maladies/diseases that go on in the body. You'll need to analyze other symptoms to narrow it down. If you're anything like I was, adrenal support will slowly bring your hunger and digestion back where they should be. You must be sure not to exceed the power of your digestion! Only eat as much as you can hold in both hands for a meal. We Americans are notorious for eating twice as much as we actually need nutritionally, and this puts a strain on our digestion. Is it any wonder some of the most common diseases/cancers relate to the digestive system? If problems are really severe, I would suggest trying an appetite stimulant. Ginger works well, so does dandelion (but it's contraindicated for mercury toxic individuals). You may want to try marijuana. It works wonders for people who have cancer or AIDS, and have lost their appetite, and are thus wasting away. Mike fats_malone2002 wrote: > I have found out I have a lack of stomach acid. Guest guest
Hi thanks . I didn't know that was anything to do with adrenals. I do have small meals, but I barely eat because I am so ill I can hardly function a lot of the time and never get hungry. And I do not eat sugar. I still suffer cramping in my gut, that has never really gone away. I've not been given anything for my adrenals. I guess I could get some kind of normal adrenal support supplement to help me a little. I did seem to experience increased appetite when I was given a herbal supplements from ayush herbs, such as " pippli " and " neem plus " and " AP mag " . pippli I found out promotes HCL, so maybe that was what did it, but I am unsure. I have found out I have a lack of stomach acid. > > > That means low cortisol (adrenals). > > >> > Mercury causes it by poisoning the hypothalmus, pituitary, and > adrenals. Guest guest
Hi, thanks for your comments. It helps to hear this. Though of cousre, I don't know for sure what is really happening with me. I am pretty much permanently sick, though I have had no amalgams for nine years. I have chelated over the years, got improvement and then had other dental visits for wisdom tooth removal, and replacement on two older composites, I also had a viral infection and since all that, I've never come right. It's ongoing. I have apparently cavitations now, and many other issues. Liver problems, gut problems, mercury and it's all too much. Anything I do to try and improve myself, I can get severely worse without improvement. I don't eat sugar and I hardly eat at all becuase I'm never hungry. I do'nt eat big meals either. I have tried chelating, but at the moment I'm intolerable to it. I hope I can at some point. thanks for the suggestions. I don't think marijuanna would be a good idea.... I have used that in the past on occassion and was made very ill by it and further toxic. But yes, I know for some people it can help in that area. > > I

Guest guest
I had low HCl and am mercury toxic. I went on the Salt/C protocol and it is completely solved. I now have stomach acid. I believe the problem was a salt deficiency, leading to low chloride ions available to the parietal cells to produce the HCl. I naiively believed the nonsense about salt being bad for us for many years. Salt is necessary for life. Your stomach acid and adrenals do not work well without adequate salt, and that can cascade into a lot of other problems. With low HCl you get gut parasites, for example. But the problem perpetuates because it is true that table salt is a poisonous artificial food that we all react poorly to. You must use natural unprocessed sea salts, you can eat as much of that as you like safely, even with high BP, I know, I had high BP prior to using natural sea salt, and that has improved on salt/c. I use about 6g of salt/c daily, some people are taking as much as 18g daily and they are recoving from hard illnesses like Lyme Disease and CFS. You can also take magnesium chloride to raise your HCl if you don't want to add that much salt. This is all anecdotal, I don't know any doctors who are treating low stomach acid with salts like sodium chloride and magnesium chloride. But I did and many others have and it works. Someday somebody who knows biochemistry will stop all the nonsense we are being told about salt. If you are interested in Salt/C, I have posted about it on my CFS blog - www.kurtsprotocol.blogspot.com <http://www.kurtsprotocol.blogspot.com/> --Kurt Is lack of HCL from mercury toxicity? I have found out I have a lack of stomach acid. I also barely ever get hungry and do not produce saliva as I once did when I used to feel an urge to eat. I do not know what this is due to. I can't gain any weight of course either. And am wondering if others have this and whether mercury toxicity causes it. thanks .
Guest guest
Also, forgot to add, I have gained weight since starting Salt/C and getting my HCl levels up, I was very low weight. But I have done a few other things that might have helped the weight gain, I discuss those somewhat on my blog. Is lack of HCL from mercury toxicity? I have found out I have a lack of stomach acid. Guest guest
I had low HCL and used all types of adrenal support, for years, and that did nothing to help. Salt/C fixed it completely. I'm sure the mercury toxicity is involved somehow, perhaps it is altering the adrenals so that the aldosterone levels are off, this would cause us to dump sodium. And the high intake of salt might correct that, hard to say. But I think the chloride ions are also missing for some reason, because magnesium chloride helps my HCl just as much as sodium chloride. --Kurt Re: Is lack of HCL from mercury toxicity? > > I have found out I have a lack of stomach acid. Guest guest
I have Thorne, Betaine HCl and pepsin, to be taken with meals. I agree that extra salt and vitamin C will help. I have been taking 6 g vitamin C per day for about 6 years. I buy it now in the ascorbic acid form and put it in blender drinks (with rice or hemp protein, rice milk, other supplements, fruit). I also use it to fill all my chelation capsules. Extra salt has helped to bring my blood pressure up. It also seems to help with the fatigue, nausea, brain fog. Adrenal cortex extract is what Andy usually suggests. A search using onibasu would likely find brands he is familiar with and doseages. Let me know if you want me to search for you. Andy's book talks about some of the adrenal support herbs. Other books that are good are Teitelbaum's " From Fatigued to Fantastic " (it's in our local library), and " Adrenal Fatigue " by . For how to use cortisol safely see " Safe Uses of Cortisol " by McK Jefferies. I like to have these books because I forget things so easily and have to look them up. I did take an adrenal support herb mix for a while, but didn't notice any improvement, so stopped. I would have continued to experiment if I didn't have cortisol. I'm so lucky to have a prescription for cortef. All the best > > Hi thanks . I didn't know that was anything to do with > adrenals.
