Definitely! I considered adding him today, but I figured I ought to at least

see him once more to be fair before I recommend him! After all, perhaps I'm

still in the euphoria of having found a decent doc, and not objective yet! I

know he's not listed yet. There's only like 3 doctors listed for all of

Iowa, and none for my city.

Hi Pam -

KC - yup, my father-in-law lives near there. I believe it's about 4 1/2 - 5

hours from Cedar Rapids. Kansas City being such a larger city than here, I

have to think there is a good doc in your area. You just have to find him

like picking a needle out of a haystack :-) Are there any from KC on the Top

Docs list? That or if you don't have any luck with endos, you can try what I

did and call of of your local physician referral services and ask if they

have any doctors that have a sub-specialty in thyroid diseases. That's

finally how I tracked down this guy.

Hi, ,

Thanks for the tip on sleuthing for a doctor. We think we may have found a

great endo. Like you, our first visit was very encouraging but I want to

visit with him a few more times before making a final assessment. So glad

you found someone you can work with!
