Guest guest
Sheri, Did you have a chance to look at the before and after photos? We have had many babies receive excellent results with the starband, the only thing we caution on any band is that you be sure the ortho is well trained at treating plagio. The orthos at CT are trained for nothing other than the treatment of plagio(plagio/brachy/scaph) and tort, but other companies do not follow that protocol so check the files section for the folder named " Getting A Good Fit " and ask questions. You want to know how many babies they have done, can you have references to contact, what training in the treatment of plagio they have had,etc.. Please do not let any doctor intimidate you, they should be more than willing to provide any info you want, you are ultimately in charge of your baby's health. I am glad you will be going to PT, and I know they hate the exercises, but you are doing the right thing. So how is Kate doing with everything else? You can always ask us questions about other things besides plagio, there are enough veteran moms here to help usually.Let us know if you need anything, CAROLG > > Hello, > > I'm new to the group and here is my daughter's story: > > > > Kate will be 7 months next week.
