..7 x 3.75=2.625 I would use, depending on FO, 2.5 to 2.75 (2 3/4)oz

Quick Question

Quick question here before I really screw this up:

For a 60 ounce batch of soap which is 3.75 lbs., how much fo should I use?

..7 times 3.75? 2.625 ounces?

Thanks so much everyone!

Hi Marla,

I have numbness and tingling all the time. It happens to my feet in

the middle of the night. When I get up to go to the bathroom or something I

have to wait for them to stop before I can walk. My fingers have tingling

everyday and some of the muscles in my back go numb too. I have had some

people tell me this isn't a symptom of fibro but a lot of people seem to have

it. I also have horrible " funny bone pain " that goes along with it.

My husband has the same kind of numbness that I have but he has Relfex

Sympathetic Dystropy (sp?).

Marla,

I used to get bad spasms in my legs. The tingling still remains in my face,

legs and feet.

Hi,

I have one quick question as I sit here working today with my shoulders and

back as well as hands, feet and face tingling (as usual). Do others here

suffer from this continually and if you do, is there anything that can be

done to help it? It is just constant with me.

Thanks,

Yes, it could be. I have that problem with my legs and feet and I have

neurophy in my legs.

Take care,

Sue and everyone who replied,

Thanks for the answers. This tingling is one thing I never could get

an answer for from anyone - other than my doctor who tends to think

it is muscle-related (as in pinched). The chiropracty does help, but

only temporarily and it never disappears entirely. When I spotted

this symptom on the fibromyalgia web-page, it is what got me thinking

in this direction.

>I, for one, have learned about the 'power' of my

> thoughts. I recommend you read " Conversations with

> God " . It has helped me tremendously,

Funny you should mention that. Yancy is one of my favorite writers

and I have the book sitting here in my study unopened.

I have walked a long road of healing in the last ten years - mental,

spiritual and physical. I understand what you are talking about. I

am a Christian, but also have a great interest in Native American

philosophy, which reflects what you are saying about 'living' life as

a prayer. I try to do that - but tend to get caught up in everyday

life and forget at times. And when those you live with do not

understand that kind of thinking - it makes it hard sometimes. I

live with three very 'action' oriented, assertive people (my husband,

daughter and Mom. They are like fire to my slow running water....

I wonder how many of us here are like the one member said - very

sensitive beings. I have within me a great NEED - not desire - for

peace, and life today is rather chaotic. I have learned to stop and

try to let go of all the guilt and stress and 'hurrying' and to

just 'live'. I will pick up that book and give it a read along with

my own writing (which I ALWAYS have to read as I try to work on my

novel... LOL)

Blessings and thanks,

Marla

Marla,

I have Peripheral Neuropathy. It is damage to the peripheral nerves which are

nerves other than the nerves in the brain or spinal cord. In my case the

nerves in the legs. I have a vitamin B12 deficiency. That is why I have a

tingling sensation in my legs and feet and sometimes in my hand.

I have pain from damaged nerves I guess is what it comes down to.

Take care,

Irene

I can tell I am out of the loop with my slightly new-age physician

who doesn't really put names to things. <sigh> I have been thinking

about trying some specialists, but will have to be very careful with

who I choose as I cannot afford to go to too many.

What is neuropathy? Just a short explanation. Thanks so much.

Marla,

Thanks for sharing the info! You are quite busy! Whew! It wore me out just

reading about everything you do.

I have CFS and I have to agree with you about how the " creative process "

energizes. That's a quirky element to this disease.
