large amounts of splenda make my stomach go oogy, but it does that to

plenty of my friends who aren't celiac.

You might try diet rite. It seems to be less heavily sweetened.

Diet Coke with Splenda is awfully heavy hitting. I don't drink the

diet rite cola (really hate diet cola in general), but I like the

tangerine and other fruit flavors.

Nope, can't think of anything else with Splenda in it that I consume.

What kind of issues do you get w Splenda? Ones that feel like

gluten-issues? That's what is happening to me. But in my case, I

get the same symptoms from both the celiac and the l.c. So, it's

REALLY REALLY tough, or perhaps nearly impossible, for me to tell

which is which. It all seems the same from where I " sit " , if you

catch my drift. :-)

Seltzer waters with flavoring are good. If you can get access to

Polar brand, they have a wide variety of calorie-free, sugar-free,

etc., flavored seltzers. They're my favorite, but only a few stores

have them.

I get very upset tummy and diarrhea, which I also get from being

glutened. I know it's been the Splenda since there hasn't been

anything else I have had or anything that would upset me. I used to

like those Fruit-2-0 drinks or some of the Crystal light drinks, but

then realized that was what was making me sick all of the time.

Splenda is just not good for you like any other artificial

sweetener. It's also called sucralose and you should do some

research on it. You will find that you probably won't want to have

it anymore anyway. Just my opinion. :)

I'm sure the list goes on and on of naturally gf vices you can still have.

Thank you for the list of potential vices! Golf really isn't my

" thang " . :-) Hubby says I'm allowed to collect all the knitting

needles and crochet hooks I want. My sewing machine collection,

in his opinion, borders on vice. Laugh!
