Sharon, Mara is an ARNP which stands for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. I like her, but so do a lot of other people. She works for Community Health. But, I think there will come a time when she will resign as well. The good ones always do. We had a great pediatrician who also worked there. This man used to be head of the pediatric department at one of the big hospitals in Seattle. Community Health kept promising that they would get another pediatrician. But, they never did. The only other pediatricians in town are at Ellensburg Pediatrics. But, they wouldn't share call with him. That's one of the main reasons that he hasn't opened his own pediatric practice. Community Health only cares about making a profit, even if they say they care about the patient. Donna

This is a tough one, Donna. Like you said, you don't want him labeled unfairly but you also want to get to the bottom of his problems. Is Mara your pc? hugs Sharonjoin me on Facebook:Sharon Mars wobbletowalk@...This email is a natural hand made product. I got a call from the clinic this morning. Mara is going to make a psych referral. The new pain that Nick is experiencing is an electric shock type. He said that if it were happening in his legs, it would not bother him. But, it is happening in his chest and that scares him. He becomes anxious. I think Nick just needs something to help him calm down, but these issues have been going on so long that he's become extremely emotional. He just wants the pain to quit. He said if the pain were to quit, he would feel so much better. Right now, he's lost all confidence in the medical profession and he thinks that he will have to deal with this forever with no hope for recovery. I've tried to be encouraging to help him over these rough spots. I just don't want Nick to be labeled as a "nut case". All he needs is something to help him calm down.Donna in WA
