Guest guest Posted May 6, 2003 Report Share Posted May 6, 2003 I went for (hopefully) my last visit to the surgeon yesterday and was given a date of May 21st for surgery. Planning on having upper done and possibly lower. They say that I am a difficult case since my lower jaw is tilted and they are trying to decide if this can all be down in one jaw or if they have to do both because of the tilt (I have a open and cross bite - midline is off). I had to donate some blood yesterday and was butchered by the lady who did it and also did some pre-op stuff. I was feeling really lousy last night, but better this morning. Now comes the fight with the insurance company - I have a rejection letter stating that my company opted out of providing coverage for this surgery under any circumstance.
