Guest guest Posted September 27, 2004 Report Share Posted September 27, 2004 Attached is the article from the Weatherford Democrat regarding Steve Gifford: Weatherford College lost one of its own Sunday when Steve Gifford was killed in a jet ski accident. The 45-year-old Emergency Medical Technology department chairman was spending the afternoon at Possum Kingdom Lake when a jet ski hit him and his daughter from the side. The two were riding their jet ski when they collided with the other water craft. The girl was uninjured. Gifford was sent to Hospital via helicopter but died when he arrived. Reports show he died of blunt force trauma to the chest. See Tuesday's print edition for an in-depth look at his influence on the community. D. He sounded like a great guy, and I'm sure his reputation outweighs anything I could say about him.
