Guest guest
I won't be there either. I've been going down to RI everyday and swimming my butt off at my mom's house...Literally. Ok...well, I still have a butt...but it's just getting cuter -- NWH meeting tomorrow Hi Folks, I was just wondering if there is anyone planning on attending tomorrow's meeting at NWH. I am planning to go, and it the first support meeting I have been to, so I am looking forward to putting some faces with names. I have mainly been a lurker, but I have never missed a post since I joined this group. With my surgery date fast approaching, I am trying to be a little more active. Guest guest
Very cute His everything else is shrinking, leaving his cute little poofy butt. It's hard not to just give it a good squeeze every now and again...kinda embarrassing in the grocery store and such. Guest guest
I was hoping to make it to the meeting tomorrow night, but I have a class that I really want to go to. I'll be there in spirit, though. :-) ...how's the swimming going? Doesn't hurt? That's great. Guest guest
Hiya Wow, my online presence has really been lacking this last week. I'm at my mom's all day swimming everyday for about 4 hours a day...OUt of that 4 hours usually 1 to 1.5 hours of actually just swimming laps nonstop...Usually broken up into 2 half hour or 45 minute sessions. It doesn't hurt at all. What does hurt is the damn sunburns. Hehe...I love it though. I haven't had this much activity or sun in 10 years...Literally. As of 5 weeks out though I'm now down 64 pounds. Woo hoo That's a pound and a half more than 10% of my pre-op weight. I think I heard somewhere that by 6 weeks out, ideally you should be down about 10% of your pre-op weight. If that's true I'm doing pretty good. Getting nervous about your upcoming surgery yet? Hehe. -- Re: NWH meeting tomorrow I was hoping to make it to the meeting tomorrow night, but I have a class that I really want to go to. Guest guest
- Yup...I am getting nervous...but not too bad. I've been keeping very busy these past 2 weeks, so I haven't had a lot of chance to sit and ponder. But...it's only 9 days away!!!! :-) I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the pool/sun. I don't have a pool...but I guess I don't need one considering that I live about a mile and a half from the Ocean, and 2 and a half miles from the Bay. tee heeeeee. Now if the water would just warm up a wee bit!!!! Talk to ya' soon. Glad to hear you're doing so well.
