Guest guest
Boy have I received a lot of e-mails already. You guys rock! I want to thank the following people for the wonderful CONGRATS letters: Levona Grammy Pat Kath-Lean Beth Tina Deanna Janet Melody Randie Sorry I sent a bulk e-mail but I didn't want to have a bunch of e-mail flying to the list! YOU GUYS ROCK and I thank you oh so very much. I couldn't have made it this far without you. Have a wonderful weekend. I'm off tomorrow. Sleeping in and resting and relaxing. No work....yeah! Our new state of the art 50 million dollar 7 floor emergency room opens tomorrow. We have a huge new billboard advertising it, we are advertising all over the radio, one of the radio stations is going to be there this weekend, and the hospital is going to be giving out free tours, free food, and free prizes. I'll have to miss it because I don't feel like going back on my side of town. I find it funny that Houston Northwest can do all of this but we laid off 67 LVN nurses just yesterday. Go figure huh? Just had to vent. Later! TOPS LOVE,
Guest guest
I agree with you 100% KathLEAN. I'll never understand some of the stuff they do at my hospital. I'm just thankful every day that I have a job because I could be next. You never know. They would be making a VERY big mistake losing me (I'm the best at my job...not being conceaded just honest) but look at the stupid decisions they have made so far. Our outpatient census has gone WAY down but our ER stays busy. Our hospital is just going to focus on ER patients, heart patients, and breast related studies. We are a self pay hospital. We don't turn anyone away for not having insurance and that's why our ER keeps busy. It's the only department that is still busy. I guess that's why they focused on it so much. They also built a 1200 car garage for the employees and I'm thinking you could have saved money on that because business is way down and you have laid off over 200 people....you sure don't need as much parking anymore. Geez! Who's in charge here? LOL! It's a beautiful ER. State of the art. Probably one of the best. I'll show pictures when they are posted online. Is it needed at Houston Northwest? Nope. But we have it just the same. LOL! Re: WOW! Thank you. I know what you mean about not going back to the work place on your day off. That's great about the new ER facility. I can't begin to imagine such a big ER. Sad about the nurses. Just how do they propose to staff that place if they've just fired 67 LVN's?????? And it's sad that an ER THAT big is needed! ER is not usually a particularly happy place. Glad to have it when you need it, though. Just my viewpoint. Guest guest
said about his hospital: Who's in charge here? *** , sounds like a government run operation to me!! Don't you know that the only reason anybody gets promoted to "management" positions is because they're too dumb to do any of the actual work??? LOL Clara No virus found in this outgoing message. Guest guest
Finally! I've been waiting all day for a message like this from you, so you wouldn't think I'm nuts. Look at the last line of your message. And it is the first paragraph. I can't remember any message you sent where this happened in any but the first paragraph. I can figure out what you were saying, but the last little bit has been deleted, dropped off or whatever. Isn't that the weirdest thing? I didn't do one thing to your message. I just hit reply to show you this is how I rec'd it. Weird. Kathleen > I agree with you 100% KathLEAN. I'll never understand some of the > stuff they do at my hospital. Guest guest
What the hell? That doesn't make any sense. I don't know why that happens. Argh! Let me know when it happens because I don't just type for my health. LOL! I want people to read it. The last part read, " State of the art. Probably one of the best. I'll show pictures when they are posted online. Is it needed at Houston Northwest? Nope. But we have it just the same. LOL! " And again....State of the art. Probably one of the best. I'll show pictures when they are posted online. Is it needed at Houston Northwest? Nope. But we have it just the same. LOL! Just in case. SORRY! Re: WOW! Thank you. Finally!
