(Sorry, that's the extent of my Spanish) If you're feeling alone, this is definitely the right place to come to for comfort. I had surgery last week to have my total thyroid removed and am now on the medication (Cytomel) prior to the I-131 therapy. Any questions or concers or complaints I've had have been answered by the people in this group. No matter what you're feeling, type it up, send it out and enjoy the feedback! Hi, i have or had, dunno....... thyroid cancer (papilar) and i went through full extirpation of thyroid, two of the four parathyroid and more than 40 ganglia (from the rubier chain) well....... nothing today i received my first dose of I-131-I with 200 millicuries and i'm waiting for next tuesday for the " reading " or whatever it's called (i speak spanish, it's really hard to speak in detailed medical terminology in english for me) I'm feeling really alone in all this... my family is trying to support me but they can't, because they are not in what i'm going through...... they would never go close to understand this, because they are not ill (and i hope they never get!) hooks Rodrigo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
