i have been watching over the years the services that have come and gone locally

and nation wide. i always got the filtered versions(kinda like when someone

calls 911, and then the final product that you get from the gossip chain) from

wherever the sources of information exist, adn whether it be that the owner just

got tired of running the buisiness and sold out to the " company " made bad

descisions and now the consequece is that they get shut down. i'm still fairly

new in ems(ok so i am still a rookie who is soaking wet behind the ears), so

idon't have the experience to know the structures and formats that help a

" company " to survive. i guess what i am asking what would make up a utopia for

an ems company? whether it is a realistic idea or not, i just want to know. i

know that a lot of people have been in this buisiness for a while and have

probably said once or twice, " well if i was in charge, i would do it this way. "

just something to ponder. i like to collect words of wisdom, cause if you know

me you know that i need all the wisdom i can saturate myself with.

The time of the profit making private small owner is gone as the cost of quality

care is higher than the people are willing to pay for so I think government

sponsored and owned and operated municipal services is the best. And that come

from a retired private 911 provider with over 30 years of experience you want

money go nursing.

The people still pay. Just not directly - but they still pay the same

amount, it's just that some of it is abstracted through the federal

government.
