how long does the actual surgery take?

Anyone recall how long their actual operation took? I am just

curious. I am most likely having upper and genio. I seem to recall

my doctor saying it would be less than 2 hours. Does this sound

right?

Hi ,

My surgeon did upper/lower and genio in 3.5 hours, exactly as

planned. Less than 2 hours sounds pretty reasonable to me. Of course,

there are people here who have had marathon sessions too, depending

on the extent of work to be done (bone grafts, palate expansion, etc.)

I had upper/lower/genio/cheek implants and my surgery took a total of 11

hours ...... it was horrible waking up from that but i had major work done

...... my surgeon was also a perfectionist ! ( obsessive perfectionist at that

) but i guess that worked out well for me
