Based on my experience, I would stick with three day rounds to start

and see how you do at the end of rounds as well as on rounds. Do this

for several rounds before changing. Symptoms can vary from one round

to the next, even at the same dose.

Did you notice any symptoms when you dropped the dose (immediately

or over the next day or so)? Did the symptoms from the higher

dose get completely better?

Your symptoms on the first couple of days sound like your dose

was too high - in my experience when I get symptoms like this

they can get worse as the round progresses. I find the ideal

dose is one where I feel steady and fairly normal (relative to my

usual symptoms) for the entire round, and any off round symptoms

are minimal.

Since you've done a round with DMSA, I would at least do a few rounds

with it and evaluate how to proceed after that.

I would wait a couple of months before adding ALA.

I noticed the symptoms of brain fog, tinnitus, and tired on days 1 and

2. In addition, I started getting a bad headache on day 3. That's when

I dropped the dose, and I felt a little headachey for almost a day. I

have felt pretty normal since.

Continuing headache for a day could be redistribution. Glad you

are fine at the 25 mg. I would stick with that dose for another

few rounds and see how it goes.

TK--- you can do either. If you do well with the DMSA I would

recommend using it as it is much less expensive. If you don't then

you can switch to the DMPS.

When can I add ALA? I had my

> amalgams removed in January.

TK--- I would recommend doing 4-5 rounds before adding any ALA, if

you are doing well with your chelation at that time. Start with a

low dosage.

Thanks.
