Guest guest
CHristine, OUr little guy sleeps on his back. Elijah HATES tummy time. On a good day if he is well rested and didnt just eat i can get about 15 minutes out of him. Tummy time is important because it helps build muscles and also keeps them off thier noggins. Because Tummy time is such a challenge i found somthing that works great to at least keep him off the back of his head for a while, its a bumbo seat. Everhear of one? If your little one sleeps on her tummy, can she roll over? If so i dont think you have to worry about suffocation. Developmentally they say SIDS goes way down when they can roll over, plus the memory foam is pretty firm so i bet she would be OK. When you look for foam aks an employee to take the foam out of the bag if they dont have one on display. Some foam is thicker than others. the one i chose for our son was on the thinner side. I think that is why it was less expensive. Good luck with finding a pad for the crib, keep me posted. > > > > > > I think I have read on here before of people using memory foam > > > mattress pads or egg crate on top on their child's > > mattresses....can > > > anyone tell me where I can find this?
