Roxie-Surgery update

HI everyone,

I just got home so I am very behind on messages and hope to be caught

up soon. My surgery did not go so well. There was a large band of

scar tissue just past my cervix and the good news is when Dr. Olive

went through it he found that I have a lot more open cavity than it

appeared on the HSG. The bad news is he also punctured my uterus

while getting through this band of scar tissue and also he could see

no endometrium and it looks like even though the cavity is fairly open

I am completely scarred. He had to stop the surgery because of the

puncture and explained that now he has a much better picture of what

is going on. I will be seeing him in a week for a follow up and a

better explanation. He showed my husband the pictures and explained

to him but my dh does not retain medical info very well. He wants to

do a lap/hyst when I heal and thinks he can fix everything at once. I

am not sure what I am going to do since this was very stressful and

I'm not sure that my insurance will cover another surgery. I wish he

would have just did the lap/hyst to begin with but I know he was

trying to be conservative and he wasn't sure what he was going to

find. I feel fine and had no problems with anesthetic etc... I just

don't feel like going throught this whole process again. Thanks for
