Guest guest
Hi Irene, What should the counsellor specialise in? Because all the ones I have soon have been totally useless. Guest guest
A couselor or therapist can not write prescriptions. And psychistrist sees you for any kind of problems such as depression, duo personalities any mind problem, they would be the one to give you the antidepressant. But to really have someone to talk to and see on regular basis you should also see a therapist. Both are a good idea. I have both. But my primary care physician is the greatest that I only saw the pshcy. doc twice and he help to regulate my antidepressants and I see a therapist who helps me by letting me vent and give me validation of my thoughts. I am a very negative person and she has actually got me thinking more positive about something. It is a long hard road without problems and with ours it is greater. Hope I helped. hang in there and I am here for anyone who wants to talk. Deana On Mon, 28 May 2001 17:22:16 EDT patidu@... writes: > Mine is a psychiatrist. Guest guest
I have to start the battle of searching for a good therapist, even if it is a psychiatrist! Wish my luck!
