Guest guest
Wow! Can't believe I'm answering a question from Margaret. Normal BUN for adult is 5-20, for a child under 2 it's, 4-15 per QLDB 2002 pg. 652. I found it under urea nitrogen, blood instead of BUN. HTH! Sylvia Roller M-TEC Student - Session 2-3 gentlsong@... Guest guest
Thanks everyone, looks like the normal ranges from 8-18 to 10-20 to 10-26 depending on the book, or maybe depending on the lab. I have been really pleased with the new Stedman's Path/Lab book, with the nice place in the back with all of the lab values, but still can't figure out why BUN isn't listed in there. Almost sorry I sold mine from HPI when I got this new one. Thanks again everyone. Margaret >>> " Jantranscribes " 01/20/03 04:18PM >>> Margaret, in my Lil Red Notebook I have a tab for normal labs.
