Guest guest
Hi! I have been having problems with pain medication, too. I've found that Children's Motrin (grape!) has been a life saver for me. Since it's the same ingredient as Advil, perhaps that will help. I've been going through it like gangbusters, though. You have to take 4 teaspoons to equal 2 Advil tabs. The hydrocodone stuff they gave me is still somewhat effective but I'm only taking half the dose since it makes me feel like I'm having a heart attack. BTW, I'm the one with the broken jaw from the accident. Wired shut. Teeth hurt lots since I shattered most of the back ones. Jenmor
Guest guest
WTG, Kathy! That's what I am trying to explain when I urge people to try narcotics. You can do more, and it hurts less. Owens ===== It has already. The line between my brows that I was blaming on age is nearly gone....apparently I was squinching up my face in pain. Plus I am able to do more.....not energy wise, but mobility wise. I still have to rest in the bed or recliner altogether too much due to being dizzy and lightheaded when upright more than about ten minutes. And I have to be very careful to pace myself...both due to SOB and to energy level...BUT the decrease in pain (3-4 instead of 8-10) has made a major difference in my life.
